Leadership Health Care (LHC) was formed in 2002 as an initiative of the Nashville Health Care Council to foster the next generation of health care leaders by creating educational and networking opportunities for members.
The organization's mission is to cultivate the talent of health care professionals into the health care leaders of tomorrow. LHC seeks to provide professionals with ongoing opportunities to develop their knowledge of the health care industry through educational events and networking opportunities that: - Foster the next generation of health care leaders and entrepreneurs.

| LEADERSHIP HEALTH CARE ACTIVITIES
LHC events include roundtable discussions with industry executives, industry tours, networking receptions and a board-level mentoring initiative. In addition, LHC hosts delegates to Washington, D.C. and New York where participants meet with senior level government leaders and industry decision-makers. Information on the March 2010 Delegation to Washington, D.C will be available soon. This Annual Delegation is one of the organization's signature events, serving to acquaint up-and-coming health care leaders with the health care policy environment and to provide insight on participating in the policy landscape. The 2011 bi-annual LHC Delegation to Wall Street will provide approximately 70 attendees with the opportunity to meet top financial executives, industry analysts and other dealmakers in the nation's financing capital. LHC also offers a Fundamentals Series of back-to-basics discussions on key health care industry topics, such as CMS 101 and Who's Driving Health Care Reform? Further membership opportunities include Board and committee appointments and a board-level mentoring program.
